The code is based on a rating system of 1 to 6, this shows the overall sustainability of a new home. A home with six stars has the highest rating The levels of energy efficiency for the code (standard percentage better than Part L1A of 2010 Building Regulations) are:-

• Code Level 1 - 0%
• Code Level 2 - 0%
• Code Level 3 - 0%
• Code Level 4 - 25%
• Code Level 5 - 100%
• Code Level 6 - zero carbon
